2020 Reading Challenge | Second Quarter Update

I canโ€™t believe how fast this year is going, in todayโ€™s post I will be sharing with you my โ€˜Second Quarterโ€™ Reading Challenge Update, how crazy is that, 6 months of the year gone already I canโ€™t believe it.
The first month of this quarter I started off pretty good and I read through โ€˜The Hunger Gamesโ€™ pretty quickly, I think it may have been a matter of a couple of weeks and then I moved on to Cassandra Clareโ€™s โ€˜Infernal Devicesโ€™ trilogy. This one I could have finished in a month but I found myself feeling a bit tired and I didnโ€™t feel like reading much. I was going through binge watching TV Showโ€™s faze, still kind of there but anyway my reading for this quarter could have been better but what can I do really, other than try better for the next quarter.

My 2020 Reading Challenge

In January I set myself a challenge to read more, I love reading but it can be so easy to get caught up in using digital devices, whether its scrolling through Instagram or Pinterest or watching hours of TV and Youtube. Or just spending copius amounts of time on the computer working.

While I try my best to balance time on and off devices I do find myself every now and then spending more time on than off, so I wanted to give myself a challenge in 2020 to read a bunch of books on my shelf.

My Favourite Book Series + Audio Books

Today I’m going to be sharing with you some of my favourite book series as well as some of my favourite Audiobooks.

I love reading, whether its reading traditional books, e-books or listening to audiobooks, I love them all. Though like most people I do love the feel of having an actual book in my hands, because it just feels nicer and It gives me more of that feeling that I’m diving into a secret world just for me.
