My 2021 Reading Challenge | Introduction

My 2021 Reading Challenge | Introduction

Welcome to my 2021 Reading Challenge blog post, as you may know I did a reading challenge in 2020 and I managed to read around 30 books (20 or so from my reading list as well as a few others), which was exciting, but after completing last years reading challenge I decided I wanted to change things up a bit. Last year I had a dedicated list of books I wanted to read and for the most part that was okay but I did find myself feeling a bit restricted with that format, so for this years challenge I'm changing things up a bit to make it a bit more fun by creating a list of prompts which I'll share below.

2020 Reading Challenge | Third & Fourth Quarter Update

2020 Reading Challenge | Third & Fourth Quarter Update

You may have noticed that I didn’t post a Third Quarter update when I was supposed to, that’s because I really struggled with reading in the middle portion of this year. Things were a bit slow so in the end I just decided to do a long post towards the end of the year instead, so I advise you to go grab a cup of tea or coffee which ever you prefer, you'll need it because this is a long one. 2020 Reading Challenge | Second Quarter Update

I can’t believe how fast this year is going, in today’s post I will be sharing with you my ‘Second Quarter’ Reading Challenge Update, how crazy is that, 6 months of the year gone already I can’t believe it. The first month of this quarter I started off pretty good and I read through ‘The Hunger Games’ pretty quickly, I think it may have been a matter of a couple of weeks and then I moved on to Cassandra Clare’s ‘Infernal Devices’ trilogy. This one I could have finished in a month but I found myself feeling a bit tired and I didn’t feel like reading much. I was going through binge watching TV Show’s faze, still kind of there but anyway my reading for this quarter could have been better but what can I do really, other than try better for the next quarter.

2020 Reading Challenge First Quarter Update

2020 Reading Challenge First Quarter Update

As you might know I started of this year setting myself a reading challenge, the challenge was to shop my bookshelf (sort of) and read as many books on my shelf as possible (in one year).I have already set a list for myself of the books that I would like to read, a lot of them being ones that I have been wanting to read but haven’t got quite gotten there, yet; as well as a couple that may need to be purchased but the main idea is to read what I already have before purchasing more.
In this update post I will be sharing with you the books that I have read in the first quarter of the year and what my thoughts are one them.
