I'm sure by now you know that I've been doing a reading challenge this year, which I've been thoroughly enjoying and in addition to my quarterly posts, I wanted to share some additional book related content, so I thought I would share some free printable bookmarks because when reading its important to have something to mark your page so you don't forget where you were up to, right.
In today's post I've provided some free printable quote bookmarks, these bookmarks are for personal use only, meaning you can print them off for yourself or a friend but you can not resell them in digital or printed form. Anyway I do hope you enjoy them and feel free to tag me on Instagram at @ erin_applebee if you do print them off and use them.
I can’t believe how fast this year is going, in today’s post I will be sharing with you my ‘Second Quarter’ Reading Challenge Update, how crazy is that, 6 months of the year gone already I can’t believe it.
The first month of this quarter I started off pretty good and I read through ‘The Hunger Games’ pretty quickly, I think it may have been a matter of a couple of weeks and then I moved on to Cassandra Clare’s ‘Infernal Devices’ trilogy. This one I could have finished in a month but I found myself feeling a bit tired and I didn’t feel like reading much. I was going through binge watching TV Show’s faze, still kind of there but anyway my reading for this quarter could have been better but what can I do really, other than try better for the next quarter.
In today's post I'll be sharing with you my 'Bookshelf Tour'. As you might know I've been posting about my 2020 Reading Challenge recently and I thought it would be fun to share some additional book or reading related content as well. I've been loving watching other people's bookshelf tours as well as other book or reading related content recently, so I thought I would share my 'Bookshelf Tour' with you.
In January I set myself a challenge to read more, I love reading but it can be so easy to get caught up in using digital devices, whether its scrolling through Instagram or Pinterest or watching hours of TV and Youtube. Or just spending copius amounts of time on the computer working.
While I try my best to balance time on and off devices I do find myself every now and then spending more time on than off, so I wanted to give myself a challenge in 2020 to read a bunch of books on my shelf.
If you aren't familiar with who 'Angie Kent' is because your not from Australia, she started appearing on our TV screens a few years ago with one of her besties 'Yvie Jones' on a show called 'Goggle Box' where they show different groups of people (friends, families, etc) watching TV shows and basically giving commentary on what they are watching. Since then she has gone on to appear in shows like 'I'm a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here' and 'The Bachelorette'.
She has quite a light hearted and funny personality, as well as being a huge animal lover and I think that's why she is well loved. Why am I telling you all this well because I recently read her book and I thought I would share some of my thoughts.
