Ready Player Two Book Review

Today I’m back with another book review but this time I’m reviewing Ernest Cline’s sequel to ‘Ready Player One’, which is ‘Ready Player Two’. I’m sorry this one is quite late posting, I’ve been meaning to share it for weeks now but I’ve been sick on and off and just haven’t yet gotten around to posting it. But never fear you will now be able to read my thoughts on this subject.

If you read my review for ‘Ready Player One’ you will know that I really enjoyed it so ‘Ready Player Two’ had a lot to live up to when it came to being at the same level or better for me to enjoy it as much as the original. Spoiler it did live up to my expectations but let me tell you a bit more about it first.

‘Help Self’ By Tanya Hennessy Book Review

Tanya Hennessy has to be one of my favourite Australian social media personalities and comedians, I find her extremely hilarious and when I watch her content or read one of her books, I know I’m in for a good laugh. But I also feel that she is very down to earth and quite relatable.

In this post I’ll be sharing my review of her new book ‘Help Self’. I loved her previous book ‘Am I Doing This Right’ which I have listened to a quite few times on Audio book, so naturally when I found out that she had a second one going to be released I made sure to add it to my wish list right away.

‘Jane Doe’ Chronicles Book Review

If you saw my ‘Year Long Book Haul’ video, I mentioned wanting to read more books by Australian Authors, well at the start of January I decided to renew my library membership which had apparently ran out like two years ago, shows how much I used it, like never. Anyway, I renewed my library card and browsed through the book selection of my local library and I was quite surprised to come across two books which I had recently put on my ‘Book Wish list’ that were by an Australian Author. I’m sure you can guess what came next, I scooped up the chance to read them and borrowed both the current volumes from the ‘Jane Doe Chronicles’ (Jane Doe and The Cradle of All Worlds’ and ‘Jane Doe and The Key of All Souls) by Jeremy Lachlan. And I’m so glad I did because I really enjoyed them and I will defiantly be keeping them on my Wish list to purchase sometime in the future because I can totally see myself reading them again.

My 2021 Reading Challenge | Introduction

Welcome to my 2021 Reading Challenge blog post, as you may know I did a reading challenge in 2020 and I managed to read around 30 books (20 or so from my reading list as well as a few others), which was exciting, but after completing last years reading challenge I decided I wanted to change things up a bit. Last year I had a dedicated list of books I wanted to read and for the most part that was okay but I did find myself feeling a bit restricted with that format, so for this years challenge I’m changing things up a bit to make it a bit more fun by creating a list of prompts which I’ll share below.
