My 2020 Reading Challenge

In January I set myself a challenge to read more, I love reading but it can be so easy to get caught up in using digital devices, whether its scrolling through Instagram or Pinterest or watching hours of TV and Youtube. Or just spending copius amounts of time on the computer working.

While I try my best to balance time on and off devices I do find myself every now and then spending more time on than off, so I wanted to give myself a challenge in 2020 to read a bunch of books on my shelf.

Angie Kent’s ‘If You Don’t Laugh You’ll Cry’ Book Review

If you aren’t familiar with who ‘Angie Kent’ is because your not from Australia, she started appearing on our TV screens a few years ago with one of her besties ‘Yvie Jones’ on a show called ‘Goggle Box’ where they show different groups of people (friends, families,etc) watching TV shows and basically giving commentary on what they are watching. Since then she has gone on to appear in shows like ‘I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here’ and ‘The Bachelorette’.

She has quite a light hearted and funny personality, as well as being a huge animal lover and I think that’s why she is well loved. Why am I telling you all this well because I recently read her book and I thought I would share some of my thoughts.

Beauty Room Make Over + Tour

I’m so excited to share this with you its been a long time coming. I remember sharing my really old beauty room years ago, back then I had a second-hand vintage dressing table as my vanity and green walls.

Last year I decided that It was time for a change I wanted a more grown-up beauty room, it was time to get rid of the green walls and upgrade my vanity.
