I Wanted To Share An Exciting Update

Hi everyone, I just want to share some exciting news with you. I have just reposted my Original Focus videos.

They have been updated with a new introduction and calming lo-fi for the music version. I have switched out the original music because of changes to the place I sourced it from. I was unsure as to whether I was able to continue using it, so it has been changed out with music from Uppbeat. They are a paid service that provides music for content creators. I felt that to continue creating videos in this style, I had to switch to using a service like this.

I don’t make money from my content, but I have a lot of money invested in it (various subscriptions and the cost of this website, etc.) I have chosen not to monetise, even though it is something I have thought about in the past. I just feel like there is a lot of added stress that comes with it, and I just don’t have the energy for that. I just want to create, and it be a fun experience, not a stressful one. But signing up for a service like Uppbeat felt like a direction that I needed to go in order to continue making focus videos.

They are also more affordable, especially compared to some other popular music licensing services available.

I am excited to get back into creating content, whether it is blog posts or videos. I am currently feeling like a bit of a spark has been lit in me again. I’ve been writing a lot. My brain has been filled with way too many ideas, and I have had to have some little talks with myself to remind myself to slow down, so I don’t burn myself out. lol.

I am really excited to share these videos with you (again). I have tried my best to balance the sound. Though I still feel like the music might be a bit loud, so you will have to let me know what you think.

Check out my focus videos

This version includes Calming Lofi Music and Stormy Ambience. Check it out here.

This version includes Stormy Ambience with No Music. Check it out here.

I will be sharing these videos on a new channel I have created calledDahlia’s Focus Library. All of these styles of videos will be hosted and accessible on this channel, but you will also be able to access them here as well. I will share individual blog posts when I share these videos, and I have a page where you will be able to see them all.

I should have some more videos coming soon. I am currently working on 4 relaxation videos. This will include a version of the stormy ambience timer videos, but they will be roughly 2 hours without a timer. I am also working on whimsical nighttime ambience videos that people can use for relaxation, sleep, etc. (This will also include a black screen version with just the music. I’ve seen a few of these on YouTube and thought I would include one to see how it goes.)

I will be sharing these videos during March and early April. I am hoping to share another focus video toward the end of April If things go to plan. They can take a while to put together, and I am still gathering ideas on what I want to do for the next one. I also have quite a lot of other stuff that I am working on, like blog posts and other videos.

I hope you enjoy using these videos for your focus sessions and keep a lookout for more blog posts in the next few weeks.

If you haven’t checked out my first Joyful Journal post yet, you can check it out here. Its a new subscriber-only series that I have started. The first edition talks about New Year Resets, giving yourself time and rest. I’ve also included a booklet that you can download and print out for your own personal use. It includes some tips and a lot of journal prompts for your own reset. My next post for this should be sometime in early April.

I just wanted to share this little update with you. I hope you have a great week. Don’t work too hard and remember to give yourself time to rest. That’s my plan for this week: to have a rest week after all the work I’ve been doing this past couple of months to get myself back into the swing of posting again. Or at least that’s what my plans are, but we will see what happens, I guess.

Until the next one,

Erin
