2021 Reading Challenge – Conclusion and Plans for the New Year

I’m so behind with posting this conclusion to my 2021 Reading Challenge, honestly, I’ve been putting it off because I didn’t know what I wanted to write or include in this. I have found that quarterly check-ins don’t really work for me though, both of the reading challenges that I have done in the last couple of years I’m good with one maybe two and then I don’t keep it up, oops. Anyway, in today’s post, I’m going to go through how many prompts I managed to tick off ( I did more than I thought I would) and what I read, maybe include a few thoughts and links to any book reviews.

2020 Reading Challenge | Second Quarter Update

I can’t believe how fast this year is going, in today’s post I will be sharing with you my ‘Second Quarter’ Reading Challenge Update, how crazy is that, 6 months of the year gone already I can’t believe it.
The first month of this quarter I started off pretty good and I read through ‘The Hunger Games’ pretty quickly, I think it may have been a matter of a couple of weeks and then I moved on to Cassandra Clare’s ‘Infernal Devices’ trilogy. This one I could have finished in a month but I found myself feeling a bit tired and I didn’t feel like reading much. I was going through binge watching TV Show’s faze, still kind of there but anyway my reading for this quarter could have been better but what can I do really, other than try better for the next quarter.

2020 Reading Challenge First Quarter Update

As you might know I started of this year setting myself a reading challenge, the challenge was to shop my bookshelf (sort of) and read as many books on my shelf as possible (in one year).I have already set a list for myself of the books that I would like to read, a lot of them being ones that I have been wanting to read but haven’t got quite gotten there, yet; as well as a couple that may need to be purchased but the main idea is to read what I already have before purchasing more.

In this update post I will be sharing with you the books that I have read in the first quarter of the year and what my thoughts are one them.

My 2020 Reading Challenge

In January I set myself a challenge to read more, I love reading but it can be so easy to get caught up in using digital devices, whether its scrolling through Instagram or Pinterest or watching hours of TV and Youtube. Or just spending copius amounts of time on the computer working.

While I try my best to balance time on and off devices I do find myself every now and then spending more time on than off, so I wanted to give myself a challenge in 2020 to read a bunch of books on my shelf.
