With everyone back at work and school after the holidays, I thought this Pomodoro Timer might be helpful. I was inspired by the many videos like this one on YouTube, I find them helpful myself so I thought that I would have a go at making one. This one includes 4 x 25-minute sessions with 3 x 5-minute breaks in between.
I use a program called Flowscape to create the background visuals (which I think look amazing) and added a timer to enhance the experience.
I also have a version of this video that includes both atmospheric sounds and music in case you want a version with some cozy low-fi music. You can find it here, or via the corresponding blog post, I published.
Flowscape is an amazing app or game available via steam where you can create whole scenes, you can randomize a landscape and then add your own elements or take away what is already there and start from scratch. #notsponsored lol I just wanted to tell you a bit about what I used to create the scenery featured in this video.
There are so many ways to create your own landscapes in Flowscape you can add trees, flowers, and animals, change up the backgrounds and lighting, and add fog and nature sounds.
I used OBS to capture my scene so that I could use it for this video.
Let me know if you find this video helpful. I went for stormy and rain sounds because for some people they can be calming, but if you would like something a bit different let me know and I can try and create something different. Leave a comment below this blog post and let me know if you would like something else and I can try and see what I can come up with.
