Update: Since writing this blog post I’ve added a few more games to my collection as well as invented in a capture card and a new Nintendo Switch, I also have a PS 1 & 2 so my gaming channel should become a bit more of a variety channel in the future.

Like I mentioned in this post, this stuff will be an occasional thing that I will share, not my main focus but I’m having a lot of fun with it and this blog is also one of my many hobbies and I love sharing many of those hobbies with you here on my blog, so I’m excited to share this one with you also.

I also decided to make a mini name change to my gaming channel it was previously ‘more Erin Applebee’ because my main channel is under my name but the name wasn’t really vibing with me so it is now ‘Erin Playz’.

I decided to start a new gaming channel on YouTube, after being inspired by the many gaming creators on the platform. As well as getting back into gaming in last year or so, I have really been enjoying watching gaming related content, particularly anything ‘The Sims’ and ‘Animal Crossing’ related. Both of which I have also really been enjoying playing as well, so I decided that it would be fun to occasionally share some gaming related content.

On my new gaming channel I will mostly be sharing ‘The Sims’ related videos, including lets plays, speed builds, etc. I would really love to do animal crossing content as well but I only have a Switch lite so I’m unable to do that at the moment. When I purchased my Switch last year I had no idea that I would end up here in wanting to create my own videos related to gaming, but who knows maybe sometime in the future I may decide to upgrade to a full Switch, but for now I’ll just be doing ‘Sims’ related content.

I’m not sure how regularly I will be upload gaming content to my new channel, as I have started this as a sort of side project to my regular content, that I share here and on my main YouTube Channel. I also wanted to let you know that I won’t be doing any Live Streams, which I know is quite common amongst gaming creators, as this is not really something that interests me at the moment but I hope to still share so fun extra content with you.

So I hope you will join me and consider subscribing to my new channel, or you know just wait until I share it on here, whatever suits you. Also sorry about the quality of my webcam, this is a new set up and I’m still figuring things out, It may take some time to get there.
