Bean Body Coffee Scrub Review

Bean Body Coffee Scrub Review | Life of Dahlia

I’m obsessed with body skincare products just as much as I am skincare for my face, I love trying different body washes, moisturizer, and scrubs. Today I wanted to share with you one of my latest favourite bodycare products, it’s BeanBody‘s Coffee Scrubs, I recently picked up their ‘Manuka Honey’ coffee scrub and I love it.

Bean Body Coffee Scrubs

When you buy this product, it comes in a bag and you get a quite a decent amount of product in it, 220 grams worth. I emptied half of mine into a jar so that I could use it more easily in my shower, I’ve used it at least a dozen or so times for a full body scrub and I’ve only probably used maybe a quarter of the product in that time.

Product Claims & Thoughts

The product claims to be great for targeting dry skin, stretch marks, cellulite and skin imperfections, and to be honest as far as stretch marks go I haven’t seen a huge amount of difference but mine, in particular, are already pretty faded so I wasn’t expecting to see much.

I have tried countless products that claim to reduce stretch marks and I’ve never seen any changes. But in all honesty they don’t really bother me that much anymore, I’ve come to terms with the fact that bodies aren’t perfect, they weren’t made to be so I’m pretty happy for them to stay.

As far as dry skin though I do feel a difference, my skin feels amazing after using this, I defiantly feel like it does put the moisture back into my skin and that it lasts throughout the day. I find that my skin can be quite dry especially in the winter time so I love using products that will help keep it hydrated and moisturized.

Ingredients

This product has some amazing ingredients to help keep your skin feeling hydrated and smooth, including Coconut Oil, Almond Oil, Jojoba Oil, Manuka Honey Extract  and Hyaluronic acid (which has great anti-aging benefits.) Not to mention the Caffeine in the Organic Coffee Beans that make up a majority of this product is also great for your skin, it helps reduce redness, it also helps with circulation and is also a powerful antioxidant.

Do I Recommend? Yes or No?

If you’re looking for a no nasties, vegan and cruelty-free affordable product then I recommend checking this brand out, you can find them in places like Priceline or Coles if you live in Australia. You can also find them on sites like floraandfauna.com.au which are a vegan, cruelty-free and ethical trading site or you can shop via the BeanBody website. If you live in the UK or Europe you can shop via their UK site.

I have only really found one semi-bad thing about this product and that is that my shower looks like I’ve been showering in coffee after using this. But I feel like this would be the same with any scrub like this, so keep in that it can be a bit messy when using it, but it’s not by any means hard to clean I just swish my foot around on the bottom of the shower to get it to all go down the drain and wipe any off of my shower walls and it’s all good.

What’s it Cost?

As mentioned this quite affordable and you get a massive amount of product for your money, this particular one cost me $17.95 from Priceline and I’ve hardly used any product from the half a dozen or so uses so far.

Though I did find that I needed less product than directed, on the packaging it recommends using large handfuls of the scrub and rub in circular motions. it also says to let it dry before rinsing off but I just use small amounts on my less problematic areas and a bit more in the other areas. Even with that, I wouldn’t say I needed a big handful of product and I didn’t let it dry I just rinsed it off, because really who has time for that. I feel like most people would probably do this anyway.

I love finding new cruelty-free skincare brands, I’m always on the look for different ones to try.

Have you tried BeanBody before? What did you think of their product?

Have you got a favourite body scrub? I’d love to know, leave a comment if you have something to recommend.

Until next time, I hope you have a lovely day.
