Project Pan 2018 | Life Of Dahlia

I have been quietly doing a project pan this year but I haven’t made much progress, so I decided to challenge myself and give it a better go next year.

I have a bunch of products that I want to use up because I have strayed from using them or because I want to transition to using a cruelty-free alternative. I’ve included a bunch of eye, eyebrow and concealer as well as some face primers, powder products and lip products.

I have a problem with collecting lipsticks but I barely wear them, so I thought it was about time I used some of them up. I’ve included a couple of my favourite nude lipsticks (Nutrimetics Lips Force in Posh Chic & Natio Lip Colour in Flutter) and a pop of colour (Rimmel London – Lasting Finish Lipstick in 210 Coral In Gold.)

I’ve also included a few cream eyeshadows from the Maybelline Colour Tattoo line. I recently got rid of a few that I really didn’t like but these few I still like and I wanted to see if I could still work with them even though they have dried out a bit. I’ve included 05 Too Cool which I thought I could also use as a highlighter, 45 Bold Gold and 25 Bad to the Bronze which used to be my favourite shade from the range.

I’ve included a bunch of eyebrow products most of which I’ve been working on for a long time, theses include Maybelline Brow Drama in Medium Brown, Essence Brow Designer in 04 blonde, Chi Chi Cosmetics Brow Pomade in Blonde and BYS cosmetics Brow Definition Kit in 01 Wow Brows. Most of these I’ve been working on over the past year or more and they are still going stronge. I change my hair colour all the time so sometimes I go for a lighter brow and when my regrowth starts being noticable I tend to go for darker prows.

I’ve also included two brow highlighting products that I’ve had for a while, Chella: hello beautiful eyes Ivory Lace Highlight & Modelsprefer Brow Highlight.

Other eye products include a Black (13050 jet) eyeliner by Nutrimetics, I’ve some how ended up with a few of these so I want to use them up and a the Lash Princess False Lash Effect Mascara by Essence.

For face products I’ve added in what has become my regular concealer the Australis Bye Bye Blemish Concealer in Cool but also included the Innoxa Cover and Correct Cream Concealer Palette. I stopped using this because I found I had a bit of trouble especially under my eyes, it would crease but I want to give it another go and use most of it up.

I’ve included a couple of primers the Savvy By DB Smooth Finish Primer which used to be my staple primer but I’ve been experimenting with others since so I stopped using it. I have one and a half tubes left so I want to use them up. I’ve also included the Australis Midas Touch Serum Primer which I quite like, I find it quite hydrating and I’m finding my skin needs extra hydration in certain areas so this has been nice for that.

My last to items are some Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powders and A Vivienne Westwood perfume. I’m wanting to move to a cruelty free pressed powder so I have three of these that I need to use up, I always keep one in my bag and one in my draw but I like to stock up when sales are on so I purchased these before going cruelty free.

I’ve had this perfume for a long time and I have others that I like more so I want to use up the ones that I haven’t been using as much and I thought I would start with this one because I doesn’t have much left.

Have you tried a project pan before? what was your experience? Wish me luck I’m sure I’ll need it.

I hope you all have a Happy Holiday season and New Year.

  1. Thank you! The same to you. I love watching other people hit pan and seeing the outline of the pan and knowing that you are going to hit it, is the best feeling of all. 😛
