Conair True Glow Sonic Cleansing System Review | Life of Dahlia

CONAIR TRUE GLOW – SONIC SKINCARE SOLUTION

Hey guys, I’ve been trying out the Conair True Glow its a Sonic Cleansing System. I did a lot of research before purchasing one of these, I was originally looking at the Clarisonic but as good as the reviews were I really didn’t want to spend that much and I would have only been able to afford the basic system which just came with the one brush and had no speed settings.

Conair True Glow – Sonic Skincare System

After researching a few different alternatives I found a review on the Conair and decided it was the best option for the price plus additional accessories and speeds. With the True Glow you get two brush heads one for your face and one for your body, you also get three-speed settings, low, medium and high.

I’ve had mine since the start of the year and have seen amazing results with my skin, the main reason I wanted to get it was because I started wearing make-up more and I knew that If I didn’t use something to help get rid of the leftover makeup that my skin would probably start breaking out. This has certainly helped, I use mine twice a day now most days with either my Essano cleanser or my Nutrimetics cleanser.

When starting to use these types of cleansing systems I recommend using it a couple of days a week so your skin gets used to it, and then gradually build up to using it every day.

I’ve got oily/combination skin and noticed as I was wearing more make-up my nose was getting super oily and it just wouldn’t stay put, since using my True Glow I have noticed a difference that it’s less oily and my makeup stays better now.

I love that this product comes with a charging base so no changing or recharging batteries I just simply plug it in and my True Glow in the charging base and that’s it.

Unlike some other basic systems, you get an automatic even cleansing timer with helps you know when to move onto the next part of your face, each timer is for 10 seconds which doesn’t sound like a lot of time on each section of your face but it is. This timer allows you to do 10 seconds on each of your six zones on your face which is your checks, forehead, nose and chin.

This cleaning system retails for $119 but Harvey Norman has it for $89, which is where I got mine from. The only downfall of this system and similar is finding replacement brush heads, which you have to get from Amazon.com
Update: Harvey Norman now sells the replacement brush heads for $25 each.

For those wondering if you can use this in the shower, yes you can, the true glow is waterproof so you can take it in the shower with you to use on your face or body.

I honestly recommend people get one of these types of systems, and If you don’t want to spend that much there are some less expensive systems but you need to make sure you can purchase replacement brush heads.

ModelsPrefer has a couple of systems out retailing for $15.99 at Priceline, if your a Nutrimetics Fan then they just came out with one of there own to for $65.00.

I love using mine and they’re all pretty similar so I hope this has helped anyone looking into getting something like this, you can never do too much to take care of your skin and prevent ageing so I recommend you check these systems out.
